Paying for heat is so last century

Say hello to the heater that pays you back

Heatoshi's hydronic heating system provides heat to your home, pool, hot tub and more using our patent-pending technology — earning Bitcoin while it runs. No technical knowledge required.

Features

Heatoshi earns while it heats — let's see your old heater do that

Every watt works twice: full heat out, Bitcoin earned around the clock. Those earnings can offset your power bill — and, over time, the heater itself. No other heater gets two jobs out of one power bill.

No flames, no fumes, no fuel deliveries. Heatoshi runs on electricity and a sealed water loop — making a greener future for all of us.

Set your target temperature in the Heatoshi app and Heatoshi handles everything else — adjusting output, monitoring itself, and earning automatically in the background. No filters, no fuel, no fuss — maintenance is virtually worry-free.

Heatoshi is built modular: software updates add new features over the air, and upgradable internals mean your heater improves with age instead of becoming obsolete.

How it works

Getting started with Heatoshi is easy

Illustration of a Heatoshi unit connected to the network, receiving work 1

Heatoshi receives work

Heatoshi picks up proof-of-work computation from a work provider — automatically, nothing to manage.

Illustration of a hot processor chip with coolant pipes capturing its heat 2

Computation becomes heat

Solving the work makes the hardware hot, and a sealed water loop captures all of it.

You get heat, work gets rewarded

The heat warms your home, pool, or hot tub while the finished work earns Bitcoin.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The real questions people ask before putting a Bitcoin heater in their home.

Heatoshi uses a patent-pending hydronic system to capture the heat naturally generated by Bitcoin proof-of-work computation. As the system computes, it produces heat that circulates through a closed water loop to warm your home, pool, barn, hot tub, or any space connected to the unit. That same computation earns Bitcoin — so the heat that ordinary Bitcoin miners throw away becomes warmth for your space, and the electricity you'd spend on heating anyway also earns. Set your desired temperature in the Heatoshi app and Heatoshi manages the rest.

Not at all. Heatoshi is designed to be completely hands-off. Any qualified local contractor can handle installation, and from there you simply set your target temperature in the Heatoshi app. No wallets to manage, no accounts or payout settings to configure, no technical expertise required.

Not necessarily — you just need somewhere to send the heat. If you already have water-based heating (radiant floors, baseboard radiators, a boiler loop), Heatoshi ties straight in, and pools and hot tubs connect directly. For other setups, your installer will assess your space before installation and confirm exactly what's needed.

Heatoshi's hydronic system is highly versatile and can be connected to heat homes, offices, pools, barns, hot tubs, sheds, workshops, and more. If a space can be heated with a water-based hydronic system, Heatoshi can handle it. Multiple zones can be connected to a single unit, making it suitable for both residential and light commercial applications.

Heatoshi uses electricity like any electric heater of the same output — 3.5–5 kW for Heatoshi and 7–10 kW for Heatoshi Pro. At $0.12/kWh, running the base model around the clock costs roughly $300–$430 a month. The difference: Heatoshi earns Bitcoin the whole time it heats, offsetting that bill. Try the calculator above with your own electricity rate.

Earnings depend on the model you choose, your local electricity rate, and Bitcoin network conditions — the Bitcoin price and total network computing power both change constantly, so earnings vary and aren't guaranteed. As a rule of thumb: the more you heat, the more you earn. The calculator above estimates your numbers using live network data.

You'll see your earnings in the Heatoshi app, with no wallets or exchanges required to get started. For the full payout details, contact our support team.

Heatoshi delivers 3.5–5 kW of heat (about 12,000–17,000 BTU/hr) with a 220 TH/s hashrate on a dedicated 220V/30A circuit — well-suited to homes, offices, and smaller spaces. Heatoshi Pro doubles that: 7–10 kW (about 24,000–34,000 BTU/hr) and 440 TH/s on a 220V/60A circuit, ideal for barns, workshops, pools, and multi-zone setups. Both share the same compact 24"W × 24"H × 12"D footprint and 3-year warranty.

Heatoshi Now is our upcoming lease-to-own program — the lowest-upfront-cost way to get started. We fully manage the unit's operation and maintenance, your share of earnings arrives by direct deposit, and the balance is paid over the lease term. At the end of the term, the unit is yours. Pricing and full terms will be announced at launch. Want in before then? You can reserve your place in line for $99 — reservations are delivered in the order they're placed.

Heatoshi needs a dedicated 220V/30A circuit; Heatoshi Pro needs 220V/60A — the same class of hookup as an electric range or clothes dryer. Any licensed electrician can confirm your panel has capacity and quote any needed work up front, so there are no surprises on install day.

Heatoshi installs like any other hydronic appliance — simple enough for any qualified local contractor, such as a licensed plumber or electrician, and typically completed within a day. Your contractor connects Heatoshi to a dedicated circuit and your heating loop and verifies performance — then you just open the Heatoshi app and pick a temperature.

Heatoshi earns whenever it runs, so many owners will route summer heat to a pool or hot tub and keep the unit working year-round. If you have no summer heat load, the unit simply idles until the weather turns.

Heatoshi is designed so your warmth never depends on your WiFi: if the connection drops, heating continues at your set temperature, and earnings resume automatically once you're back online.

In most jurisdictions, yes — Bitcoin earnings are generally treated as income. The Heatoshi app keeps a full earnings history to make reporting easy, but talk to a tax professional about your specific situation. This isn't tax advice.

Very little. The hydronic loop is sealed, and the Heatoshi app monitors the unit continuously and tells you if anything needs attention. Because Heatoshi is modular, its computing hardware can also be upgraded over time to keep earnings competitive as the Bitcoin network evolves.

Very. Heatoshi's closed-loop hydronic system has no exposed heating elements and no open flame, every unit runs on its own dedicated circuit, and the Heatoshi app monitors the system continuously with real-time status and alerts.

Very quiet — Heatoshi runs at under 45 dB, about the ambient hush of a quiet library or a modern refrigerator. Whether it's in your home, office, or workshop, you'll barely notice it's running.

Both Heatoshi and Heatoshi Pro include a comprehensive 3-year warranty. For the full terms, contact our support team.
